Pittwater RSL Club was formed in 1958, initially meeting in a small sports pavilion in Mona Vale before securing land on Huxley Street, where volunteers built the first clubhouse from a surplus army hut. In 1960, the club moved to Mona Vale Road after purchasing land with the help of Harbord Diggers Club and Miller’s Brewery, leading to rapid growth and frequent expansions, including a new auditorium, dining room, and gaming area by 1968. Over the decades, the club has continued to grow, offering extensive sports, dining, and recreational facilities, numerous sub-clubs, and a vibrant events calendar, culminating in a major refurbishment in December 2016 that delivered the contemporary interiors enjoyed today.
