Dual registrations
Women and girls (W12-W16) should attend the grading session of the team they believe they will and wish to grade higher for. E.g. A player who wants to be W14/1 and the mixed U14’s should prioritise grading in the women’s session.
Team formation options
Grading: Friendships and social groups are not considered for Performance Stream (U8–11) or Div 1 (U12+) teams. Players who grade and aren’t placed in a performance or division 1 team will be placed in a team with players of similar ability
Form your own social team: List all player names in the notes section during registration on PlayFootball. All players must agree to be part of the team and you must meet the minimum team numbers per the grading policy. Social teams will not be placed in performance stream or div 1.
Simply register: For U6 we’re guided by school groups so kids starting school and football can make connections on and off the field. U7–10, we’ll aim to group players by school, past teams and friend requests (not guaranteed due to the volume of players and complexity of team placement).
Refer to the grading policy for more information.
narrabeen fc youth program
Narrabeen FC is committed to the development of players from Mini Roos through to seniors. To support this growth, we are excited to re-launch the Narrabeen FC Youth Program.
U8-11 and W8-11 performance stream teams will train weekly through the Narrabeen FC Youth Program, guided by licensed coaches alongside a team-appointed volunteer coach. Narrabeen FC will not provide a dedicated coach for training or game days. This approach reflects The Narrabeen Way of building skills within our players and volunteer coaches.
Training cycle:
Weeks 1–4: Tuesday or Thursday session with licensed coach on rotation at Narrabeen Sports High in partnership with team appointed volunteer coach
Week 5: Team appointed volunteer coach at Boondah
Cycle repeats
Match day plans provided to team appointed volunteer coach to manage match day
Licensed coach review on match day every 4–6 weeks
Non-performance teams (U8-11) and Narrabeen FC Youth Program
Every 5th week of the season, teams will be invited to attend the youth program at Narrabeen Sports High School, with their coach, for skill development and assistance with training plans. Invitations will be sent to teams via the age coordinator during the season.
